It’s something we all experience in our lives. Regret. “If only…” “What if…” “I wish…” “What would have happened…” You know, that haunting fear that perhaps a decision you made has set your life on the wrong trajectory and now your forever going to be living out the consequences.

Well, we have good news for you today. The Holy Spirit intends for you to live your life with no regrets!

Yes, we’re sure you’ve messed up. So have we. There’s not a person on this earth who hasn’t missed it, causing themselves and others pain or sorrow. But that’s what Christ exchanged for us at the cross. Our mess-ups and all their consequences with His perfection.

You died in Him 2,000 years ago, and in Him you have forgiveness, redemption, restoration, recovery of all that was lost. That great shadow is laying gracefully over you as long as you have life in your mortal body.

So take a deep breath, thank the Lord for His great work, and let go of your regrets. The cross is bigger than anything you could have done. His grace is more than enough. Come to your Heavenly Father like a little child, and receive His healing and forgiveness. Enfold yourself in the reality of the cross, and be free.
